The Celtic Englishes

The organiser of the Colloquium on the "Celtic Englishes IV " gratefully acknowledges the very generous support from the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, i.e. German Research Foundation) for helping to meet the considerable travel expenses of the foreign speakers and invited discussants. As in the previous years, the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ireland (Dublin), through the kind agency of the Embassy of Ireland (Berlin), contributed to the travel funds for Irish nationals. The Ambassador of Ireland, His Excellency Seán Ó Huiginn, very kindly provided transport to Berlin Grunewald for a reception on Thursday evening in His residency, including musical entertainment. We will keep grateful and happy memories of this exiting event. Last but not least, we owe many thanks again to Finanz Consult, Steuerbegünstigte Sachwertanlagen, Dr. Konrad J. Tristram (Freiburg i.Brsg.) for assistance towards the logistics of the Colloquium.
